About us

Since 1993 Karl Scholten has traded as Acer Building Services, gaining experience working mainly with highly skilled craftsmen.

Currently Karl operates with a full time assistant and a number of subcontractors. We are able to offer a comprehensive service even though we are a small company.

We have recently been licensed to trade under the new Government endorsed Trustmark scheme through our membership of the Masterbond warrantee offered by our trade body the Federation of Master Builders.

To be eligible, we have provided a number of recent references from clients, a firm of structural engineers and the local building control. The latter is involved in the regular assessment of compliance.

We offer an individual service, giving each project the maximum attention, endeavouring to complete each job before moving to the next client. We work through projects in a planned order and look to minimise disruption to the household or workplace.

Good quality materials are always used to provide the best value for money in each project.

Increasingly environmental sustainability supply and working practices are becoming important. We are keen to adopt this ethos.
